The 2026 Chang'an UNI-Z Launches


The 2026 Chang'an UNI-Z has been officially launched, as reported by Dongchedi. The exterior has been updated by removing the chrome trim from the faux air‑intake areas on both sides of the front bumper and replacing it with high‑gloss black surfacing. Inside, the cabin adopts a new column‑mounted gear shifter, while the steering wheel is a fresh three‑spoke design featuring physical buttons and two‑tone leather upholstery.
In terms of equipment, the 2026 Chang'an UNI-Z introduces the Tianshu Intelligent Driving Assistance Vision Edition. The entry‑level Smart New Blue Whale 500Bar PRO variant gains a host of features including rear collision warning, rear cross‑traffic alert, door open warning, front parking sensors, front vehicle departure alert, automated lane change assist, automatic parking assist, reverse trajectory tracking, and remote vehicle manoeuvring, among others. Additional new amenities include driver’s seat memory and massage, CarPlay smartphone integration, voice wake‑up recognition for the front passenger, continuous voice recognition, and remote control via mobile app (smart parking assistant), etc.
Under the bonnet, the 2026 Chang'an UNI-Z is powered by the new Blue Whale 500Bar 1.5‑litre turbocharged engine, which delivers 141 kW (192 PS) and a peak torque of 310 N·m. Power is routed through a seven‑speed wet dual‑clutch transmission, with front‑wheel drive as standard across all trim levels.
